HOUSE RULES

The environment you can expect while at the CrashPad

GENERAL HOUSE RULES

House rules are to be followed at ALL times even if you are the only one here!

  1. The Crashpad may not be used as your personal nor permanent address.

  2. No mail or packages are to be received at the Crashpad at any time.

  3. Payment is due by 5:00pm MST, on the 1st of each month, otherwise a $50 late fee will apply. $5 per day additional late fee until paid in full.

  4. ABSOLUTELY NO Guests. The only people permitted on the premises are paying customers. This is for your and others comfort and security.

  5. Common courtesy prevails: Be respectful of others’ need for rest.

  6.  It is your responsibility to clean your own personal living areas and a proportionate share of the common living areas.

  7.  Space heaters, candles and open flames are strictly prohibited.

  8. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. If you smoke outside, please do so in the designated area, and properly dispose of your waste. 

  9. Clean up after yourself. Leave it like you found it or better.

  10. Keep your area tidy, make your bed and keep your possessions orderly.

  11. Limit your possessions to what will fit in your provided bins(closet & pantry), your roller bag space under your bed, and your assigned closet space.

  12. Do not pull bags through the house and be careful not to hit the walls or doors while carrying through. 

  13. Everyone contributes to the accumulation of waste, take your turn putting out the trash.

  14. The thermostat is programmed.  If the house is too hot or too cold, please let the house manager know.

  15. If you are off for two or more days, you must vacate the premises. This is a commuter facility, not a hotel.

  16. Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice .If we do not receive your notice 30 days prior to your leaving, you will be charged for the next month.

  17. Please turn off all lights and lock doors when leaving.

  18. Absolutely no illegal substances/activities.

  19. Personal belongings are not covered by homeowners insurance. Individual renters insurance should be purchased if coverage is desired.

  20. The Leaseholder is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.  

  21. Any violation of these guidelines is subject to immediate termination of this lease and you will be required to leave without refund. 

  22. These guidelines may be amended at any time.

KITCHEN RULES

  1. All canned and dry goods need to be stored in your food bin with your name on it in the designated food storage area.

  2. Anything that you store in the refrigerator or freezer must have a name and date on it..

  3. All leftovers, opened containers or anything that has the potential to leak (packaged
    meats etc.) must be in a Ziploc bag with your name and date.

  4. Please clean kitchen items immediately after you use them. Wash, dry and put away any dishes you use.

  5. Clean up any mess you make inclusive of countertops, sink, floor, microwave, refrigerator, stove and coffee bar area.

  6. Make certain the food and beverages you consume belong to you.

BATHROOM RULES

  1. Do not leave any personal items in the showers or anywhere in the bathrooms. Personal items go in the storage basket provided for you.

  2. Please be courteous and clean up after yourself. Clean up any mess you make inclusive of splatter on the mirror and faucet, hair clippings, toothpaste in the sink, etc. Wipe bathroom countertops after each use.

  3. Cleanup your hair after shaving, showering and washing your hair. Please remove hair from shower drain after each use.  We pride ourselves on having a clean and comfortable Crashpad. Excessive messiness in any area will not be tolerated.

  4. Where shower curtains are present, pull closed after use to allow proper drying and prevent mildew.

  5. If you pee on the toilet, floor or surrounding areas, wipe it up.

  6. ONLY toilet paper and human waste is to be flushed. All other items go in the trash.

  7. Use your assigned towel and hot tub towel. You are responsible to launder as necessary. 

  8. Don’t leave dirty/wet towels on the floors or beds. Damp and used towels are to be hung on your designated hook near your closet space.

BEDROOM RULES

  1. Quiet hours are from 9:00pm - 8:00am.  Please refrain from taking/making calls in the bedrooms.

  2. Overnight guests are not allowed. 

  3. No hot bunking will be allowed!  Everyone is provided their own bed.

  4. You are responsible to launder provided sheets, pillowcases and towels weekly, and blankets as needed.  

  5. Please sleep in your bed.  The living room is a common area space for everyone.  It is not a bedroom and should not be used for sleeping.

  6. Please do not put luggage on the beds. This soils the linens.

  7. Do not switch assigned rooms or beds without prior request. The bed you may be using may already be assigned. 

  8. Please get ready in the bathrooms, the Image Nook or other common areas and be respectful of others who are sleeping.

LAUNDRY RULES

  1. Conserve the provided laundry supplies to ensure continued use.

  2. Washing machine has an automatic soap dispenser. It is located in the lower drawer below the washer when it needs to be refilled. 

  3. Be expedient with your laundry. Use a quick load setting when possible.

  4. Place any found items in the lost and found cubby

  5. Hang ironing board up after use

  6. Clean dryer vent every load.

HOT TUB

The Hot Tub is a great benefit to this property. Please help secure ongoing enjoyment by following posted rules and common sense including the following: 
Do not jump into the hot tub. Do not drink the water. Do not use the tub if you have infectious diseases. Do not use detergent or soaps or oils of any kind in the tub. The use of drugs alcohol or medication before or during tub use may lead to a danger of drowning. Persons using medication should consult their doctor before using the tub. Some medications may cause drowsiness, do not use the tub if your medication induces drowsiness, affects your heart rate, blood pressure or circulation. Prolonged immersion in hot water can result in hyperthermia, a dangerous condition that occurs when the internal body temperature spikes. Symptoms include unawareness of impending hazard, failure to perceive heat, failure to recognise the need to exit the tub, 
unconsciousness resulting in a danger of drowning. 
• Do not use any glassware near the tub. If glassware is broken, this will result in the hot 
tub being drained, cleaned and refilled, for which there will be a charge. THIS HOT TUB IS TREATED WITH CHEMICALS. IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO 
CHLORINE, YOU SHOULD NOT USE THIS HOT TUB. 
• Manager and Crashpad247 and Eight Forty West Properties accept no responsibility for 
any reactions or illness you might experience following use of the hot tub. Any direct damage caused to the hot tub by anyone must be reported to the manager immediately and will have to be charged.
